Built from scratch

Task

Build the complete Steam Trader project: the marketplace, inventory, item sales, transaction history and Chrome extension.

Implementation

  • Designed and implemented the marketplace architecture and interfaces with Next.js, TypeScript, TanStack Query and Zustand.
  • Built item browsing, inventory, sales, transaction history and charts, including API integration and server-side data loading.
  • Developed the Chrome extension and its connection to the marketplace, authentication checks and connection status.
  • Added localization, page metadata and automated tests for marketplace and extension workflows.

Developed the entire project from scratch.

My contribution

Task

Give operations teams a way to inspect employee-data changes and produce reports from multiple source systems with traceable reconciliation results.

What I worked on

  • Frontend: built React and TypeScript screens for snapshot comparison, field-level differences and Excel exports, using TanStack Query and Zustand.
  • Backend: developed authenticated ASP.NET Core APIs for backup listing, comparison and downloads. Optimized SQL queries and history lookups, added idempotent migrations and API tests.
  • Reporting: consolidated billing and shipment data from legacy and newer operational systems into compatible reporting tables. Worked on Power BI semantic models, paginated reports and driver-utilization tables.
  • Data engineering: developed Microsoft Fabric notebooks for source-to-lakehouse reconciliation and mirrored driver snapshots into OneLake for the payroll application.
  • Data validation: compared independent report exports with lakehouse data, stored results by run and environment, and built Python automation for reconciliation summaries and backup audits.
  • Platform: extended Fabric CI/CD with role-coverage checks and post-publish access synchronization. Worked on environment-specific schedules and lakehouse maintenance.
